JESUS

Jesus, the Son of God. He was in the beginning with God while creation was made. Nothing was made without Him for in Him all things consist and exist (John 1:3). Jesus is above all things and the head of the church (Ephesians 5:23).

Jesus was spoken about by the prophets of old as the Saviour that world come into the world full of grace and truth. He is the Prophet of Prophets in whom all would become sons of obedience. Jesus.

Jesus came to earth under the lineage of Abraham through Joseph's bloodline (Matthew 1). He was born in a manger to Joseph's virgin fiancé, Mary. He grew up in a humble family and in a town called Nazareth which was not known for many good things but in God's wisdom, it was perfect.

Jesus, fully God and yet fully man took on flesh with one purpose to do the Father's work of performing miracles, signs and wonders that healed people, raised them from the dead, made the blind to see and the lame to walk. Jesus delivered and set free the lawful captives. Through Jesus, the world knows it is loved by God. Jesus is the Witness that God loves the world for and in Him is the forgiveness of sins and eternal life.

As the Witness of God's love, He bore many trials and suffered to the point of dying a painful death hanged on the cross for a crime He did not commit all so that we could be one with the Father as it was at the beginning. In His body, Jesus willingly bore every sin and its consequences, He took on every curse of the law (Galatians 3:13) and by His stripes we were healed (1 Peter 2:24). When He was buried in the tomb, God raised Jesus up from the dead and made Him to sit in the heavenly places with Him because it was not possible for death to hold His Beloved Son in the grave (Acts 2:24) for it is written, God would not allow His Holy One to see corruption (Psalm 16:10). And because death could not hold His Son, death can no longer hold anyone who believes in the name of Jesus. Because Jesus, the Holy Lamb of God, did not see corruption, every son and daughter of God in Christ Jesus will not see corruption because as He is, so are we in this world. For in Him we move, live and have our being (Acts 17:28). Jesus is the reason death cannot behold Love.

Invitation to salvation: If you would like to receive Jesus and be born again into God's Kingdom, that is saved and have a personal relationship with God as Your Father and you as His child by receiving His Son, Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, I invite you to say this confession:

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever." AMEN.
