My faith vs the Lord's faith

Today's lead Scripture is from 2 Thessalonians 3:3 NKJV

But the Lord is faithful, who will establish you and guard you from the evil one.

When I look at my faithfulness, I will fail without a doubt. However, when I look at the Lord's faithfulness, my needs and desires that are in line with God's purpose are supplied because as much as they are my needs, it is more about Him than it is about me because that is how deep and serious God's love is for and me you. I bring to your consideration that our faith is about the faithfulness of the Lord. 2 Timothy 2:13 says to us that if we are faithless, He remains faithful because He cannot deny Himself. This tells that Jesus is the standard of faith and not us. And that's why when we look to ourselves, we are unsettled and disappointed in our actions because we are looking unto 'our faithfulness' instead of the Lord's faithfulness. The Lord's faithfulness gives us the grace to do what we supposed to do in our day to day lives without self-condemnation. 1 John 3: 21-22 NIV "Dear friends, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have confidence before God and receive from Him anything we ask, because we keep His commands and do what pleases Him."

I will end with this Scripture in 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 NKJV:

"16.Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and our God and Father, who has loved us and given us everlasting consolation and good hope by grace,

17. comfort your hearts and establish you in every good word and work."

Thank you LORD. Amen.
