God forgives

I believe we may agree that where there is forgiveness, love is present. Today, we are reminded of God who forgives. 1 John 4:8 tells us that God is love. Love is not something He simply does, it is literally who God is. God's love was brought to full expression when He sent His Son, Jesus to die for the sins of the world (John 3:16-17). Jesus died for everyone's sins including the people that hated, persecuted and crucified Him on the cross. 1 John 1:9 reminds us that, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
When you come before God and confess your sins to Him, He not only forgives and forgets them completely (Hebrews 10:17) but He also gives you a new nature where by His grace, you will be set free from the sin nature of the flesh and live for God and His righteousness that is found in Christ. God's assurance of this work in the life of every child of God is found in 1 John 3:9 NKJV, "Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and He cannot sin, because He has been born of God."
Prayer: Father thank you for this great love with which You love us and continue to love the world through Your Son Jesus. Thank you Abba that our sins and lawless deeds You remember no more because we have confessed our sins and received Your forgiveness. I thank you as well for Your grace that is upon the life of every son and daughter of Yours - because they are born of God, they can no longer sin as Your seed remains in them and preserves them from all unrighteousness in the name of Jesus, amen. Thank you LORD.
I'll end with this Word found in 1 John 4:4 (NKJV)
"You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world."
Amen, thank you LORD.
Invitation to salvation: The above promise is for God's children who have made a confession and received Jesus as Lord and Saviour of their life. When you receive Him, you are forgiven, redeemed from spiritual death, whole, healthy, set apart, complete in Him and reconciled in relationship with God, the Father now until eternity. If this sounds like you:
Please make this confession;
"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.
If you just said this prayer, congratulations - GLORY TO GOD, the LORD has redeemed you and you are born again- AMEN. Please find a home church, become a member and get water baptized!
