Romans 5:5 AMP

"Such hope [in God's promises] never disappoints us, because God's love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us."

Amen, thank you LORD.

Yesterday's post highlighted God's heart of love and mercy towards you. When you repent or confess your sin to the LORD, God not only forgives your sins but He also forgets them.

It is important to also recognize that forgivness is something that God has already given to us. When Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world, your sins were already forgiven thousands of years ago.

However, you only received God's love for you and activate His blessings concerning you when receive Jesus and confess Him as Lord and Savior of your life. When you receive salvation, God pours out the very nature of His love on the inside of you through the Holy Spirit as seen in today's lead Scripture.

Since God has forgiven us with such great a love, He also desires that you forgive those who wrong or offend you because He has blessed you with the ability to do so as He has poured out His love in our hearts as shared in the above in Romans 5:5.

In the gospel of Mark, Jesus illustrates to us a way to walk in faith which is speaking to the mountain before us and commanding it move (Mark 11:23-24). At the same time, He shares a key ingredient to aid your faith life which is forgiveness. Jesus says in Mark 11:25 AMP, "Whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him [drop the issue, let it go], so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions and wrongdoings [against him and others]."

I pray for you in the name of Jesus to be free from false burdens and manipulation by the enemy's schemes of un-forgiveness, offence, guilt and shame because Jesus bore it all on the cross for you so that you would walk in freedom as seen in Isaiah 53:5. It reads, "But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him and by His stripes we are healed."

Choose to continually receive God's love for you and as you do this, the Holy Spirit will give you the power to forgive just like the LORD forgave you and to walk in love with all people in the name of Jesus, Amen.

I'll end with this Word found in 2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP)

"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity or cowardice or fear, but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of sound judgment and personal discipline [abilities that result in a calm, well-balanced mind and self-control]."

AMEN, thank you LORD.

Invitation to salvation: The above promise is for God's children who have made a confession and received Jesus as Lord and Saviour of their life. When you receive Him, you are forgiven, redeemed from spiritual death, whole, healthy, set apart, complete in Him and reconciled in relationship with God, the Father now until eternity. If this sounds like you:

Please make this confession;

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.

If you just said this prayer, congratulations - GLORY TO GOD, the LORD has redeemed you and you are born again- AMEN. Please become a part of a church community and get water baptized!
