God loves you
Ephesians 1:4 AMP
"just as [in His love] He chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is, consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight. In love."
Amen, thank you LORD.
Today's post is about God's love for you. When you read the above verse, it is a reminder that God chose you, God made you holy, God consecrated you and made you blameless and approved in His sight when you received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life. You were cleansed and washed from your old life when you believed in the name of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 6:11).
Now I want you to consider for a moment, how can God condemn what He has cleansed and made holy and consecrated? For God to condemn you or to be angry with you would be to condemn Himself and this is can never be so because you are God's creation and everything that God does and has made is wonderful and good. James 1:17 (NKJV) reminds us, "Every good gift and every perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights of whom there is no shadow or variation of turning." God loves you for you are made to be loved.
Galatians 2:20 (AMP)
"I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me."
Amen, thank you LORD.
