God makes clean

Colossians 2:13-14 (NKJV)

"13.And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,

14.having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."

Amen, thank you LORD.

Is it not amazing that all you have to do is to come to God, exactly the way you are regardless of what wrong you may have committed and when you receive God's salvation, God makes you clean. The above verses in Colossians 2:13-14 shows us how God has already made you clean through His Son Jesus Christ by making you alive with Christ. When Jesus was nailed on the cross, God made sure that all your trespasses and sins would be forgiven and every handwriting the enemy had written against you before you received Jesus Christ no longer exists because Jesus bore it in His body for you so that you would be free.

One of God's nature is holiness. God's holiness cannot dwell where there is sin so we see that when you receive salvation, you become clean and purified by God's power working in you in Christ and God forgives and forgets your sins. Colossians 1:22 says, that through the body of Christ's flesh, Christ presents you holy, blameless and above reproach in God's sight. Child of God, you are holy, blameless and above reproach in God's eyes because of what Jesus has completed for you on the cross. Please meditate on this powerful truth concerning God's goodness towards your life. After you receive Christ, we also see that He continues to sanctify and cleanse you by the water of His Word as seen in Ephesians 5:26. This is the reason that reading the Word of God is important in the life of every believer.

Ephesians 1:4 AMP, further reveals God's love for you. The Word says, "just as [in His love] He chose us in Christ [actually selected us for Himself as His own] before the foundation of the world, so that we would be holy [that is consecrated, set apart for Him, purpose-driven] and blameless in His sight. In love." God has always loved you and when you receive Jesus, God did not start loving you then, however, you are the one who came to the place of understanding and receiving His love for you found in the salvation of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

God's arms are always wide and open to receive all who wholeheartedly come to Him.

I'll end with this Word of encouragement found in Colossians 3:1-3 (AMP)

"1.THEREFORE IF you have been raised with Christ [to a new life, sharing in His resurrection from the dead], keep seeking those things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

2.Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].

3.For you died [to this world], and your [new real] life is hidden with Christ in God."

Amen, thank you LORD.

Invitation to salvation: God wants to make you clean. However, you have to receive His love for you found in His Beloved Son, Jesus Christ. So if this sounds like you, I invite you to believe with your heart and confess with your mouth the words below;

"I believe with my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to die for my sins. Today, I receive Jesus as the Lord and Saviour of my life who has delivered me from every power of darkness into the Kingdom of God's love. I am now a new creation in Christ Jesus. I am clean where my past trespasses and all my sins are forgiven by my Father God. AMEN."

If you just said this prayer, glory to God you are redeemed. Please become a member of church community and get water baptized!
