God's eternal love

Father God, thank you for this day. Thank you for Your Word that is truth, unchangeable and trust worthy. We give you all the glory and praise in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Genesis 1:1 (NKJV)
"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth."
Amen, thank you LORD.
When we look around us, one does not need to be a believer to know that God exists. Everything created in the heavens like the constellations, the sun, moon, stars and everything on the earth point to God's existence. Acts 14:17 reminds us that God did not leave Himself without a witness for He did good by giving rain from heaven and fruitful seasons satisfying our hearts with food and gladness. All this was and still is evidence of God's goodness. In Jeremiah 31:14, "I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance, and My people shall be satisfied with My goodness says the LORD."
In Matthew 5:45, Jesus reminds us that God sends rain on both the evil and good, which an indication of God's love for all mankind. In addition, Psalm 145:9 says, "The Lord is good to all; His compassion rests on all that He has made."
However, as much as creation is able to reveal God and His omnipotence, God desires that we know Him through the expression of His mercy and love found in salvation. Jesus tells us that He is the way, the truth and the life because nobody can come to the Father God except through Him (John 14:6).
Thankfully, God in His mercy and love is not seeking for perfect people to receive salvation but a heart that is willing to turn to Him. Romans 5:8 says, "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Christ did not die for a perfect person, He died because God loves you and He wants you to receive eternal life found in His Son.
Consequently, God's eternal love is not based on our goodness but on His goodness and kindness expressed through salvation. God created heaven for you, not for Himself. This is the reason the LORD encourages all to look to Him for He says in Isaiah 51:6, the heavens and the earth will vanish and pass away but His salvation will be forever and His righteousness will not be abolished. AMEN! It is usually easy to draw close to a person you know will be good and kind to you. Friend, you can trust that God will be kind, good more than you can imagine concerning your life, if a human being can do it, how much more God and His eternal love for you! In case you may be wondering, eternal means something that has no end because it lasts forever.
I'll end with this Word found in Hebrews 1:1-4 (NKJV)
"God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets,
has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;
who being the brightness of His glory and the express image of His person, and upholding all things by the word of His power, when He had by Himself purged our sins, sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,
having become so much better than the angels, as He has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they."
Amen. Thank you LORD
Invitation to salvation: On that note, if you would like to know about God, the Father who from the beginning of creation has always loved you and desires to commune with you through a personal relationship with His only Son Christ by dwelling on the inside of you and to have eternal and everlasting life including all the blessings found in Christ Jesus - I invite you to make this confession:
"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever." AMEN.
Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17) . To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.
