God's promises

This is the day that the LORD has made and we are glad and rejoice in it. Thank you LORD for the Word and as we read and meditate on it, You are providing us with understanding and revelation of the hope that is found in our calling in the name of Jesus, Yes and Amen.

Today's lead Word is from 2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV)

"For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us."

Amen, thank you LORD.

In the gospel of Matthew is a leper who comes to Jesus and says, "Lord, if you are willing, You can make me clean." Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, "I am willing; be cleansed. Immediately, his leprosy was cleansed." (Matthew 8:2-3). The leper knew Jesus could heal him but for the most part, he doubted Jesus' willingness to do it for him. The moment the leper understood that Jesus is both able to heal and willing to heal him as well (just like the others), he received his healing.

The will of Jesus is important just as His obedience because in His willingness He did God, the Father's will which was, He willingly offered His body to die for the sins of the world.

In Hebrews 10:7 (NKJV) Jesus says, "Then I said, 'Behold, I have come - in the volume of the book it is written of Me- to do Your will O God." As a result of Jesus' will, we have been sanctified (Hebrews 10:10). The greek meaning of the Word sanctified is 'hagiazo' which means to make holy, purified and set apart. Yes and in Him amen!

Today's lead Word is a good reminder that all of God's promises in Him are yes and amen! If Jesus willingly offered Himself on the cross to die for your sins, raised by the power of God from the dead and ascended to heaven, there is no promise that is found in His Word that He is not willing to freely give you. It is for this reason Romans 8:34 (NKJV) reminds us, "Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us."

Child of God, let not worry, doubt and fear deceive you. God loves you too much to not come through for you whenever You need His touch. Every promise that God has given to you found in Christ, is secure because Jesus' will combined with his death on the cross, burial and resurrection has paid the price for you to freely receive every perfect gift and blessing He has prepared for you. Yes and in Him amen!

I'll end with this Word found in Hebrews 11:6 (NKJV)

"But without faith is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

Yes and in Him Amen. Thank you LORD.

Prayer: Father God, we thank you for Your love that never fails. Thank you for every good gift and every perfect gift that comes down from the You, Father of lights in whom there is no shadow or variation of turning (James 1:17). Thank you LORD that there is a clearance by Your Angels from Your throne room for Your children to receive every good and perfect gift that You have freely given and prepared for them. Thank you LORD Jesus for the sick are healed, for restoration in marriages, financial breakthroughs in business and careers in the name of Jesus. Yes and Amen. GLORY TO GOD.

Invitation to salvation: On that note, if you would like to be born again into God's Kingdom, that is saved and have a personal relationship with God as Your Father and you as His child by receiving His Son, Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, I invite you to say this confession:

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever." AMEN.
