God's will

Praise the LORD family and a blessed Sunday to you. Father, we thank you for the entrance of Your Word brings light. Thank you Holy Spirit that You are bearing witness with truth of Your Word and may You further enlighten our hearts and quicken our actions as the Word is shared in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Philippians 2:13 (NKJV)

"for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure."

Amen, thank you LORD.

When Jesus came to the earth, He was always clear, He only did as the Father does. God's will was His will. In Hebrews 10:6-7 (NKJV) speaks of Christ's will, "In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you had no pleasure. Then I said, 'Behold, I have come - in the volume of the book it is written of Me- to do your will, O God."

Jesus was not only obedient to the Father but He was also willing. I believe Jesus embodied God's will so well that people could not even separate the two which is most likely the reason He was able to remind us that it was the Father God's will and not His own. When you become born again by receiving a personal relationship with Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, the old nature that sinned becomes dead when you receive the seed of Christ. 1 John 3:9 (NKJV) says, "Whoever has been born of God does not sin, for His seed remains in him; and he cannot sin because he has been born of God."

Furthermore, as a new creation in Christ Jesus after you become born again, the old nature that was disobedient as a result of the first Adam's disobedience is washed away from you by the new covenant of Jesus' blood. Since Jesus, the second Adam was obedient, you are also obedient by nature. Since Jesus was willing to do God's will, we as God's sons and daughters in Christ willingly do God's will as well. Ephesians 2:10 (NKJV) says, "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." Will is spiritual and to be able to walk in the good works that God has prepared before hand for you, you have to be both willing and obedient and thankfully God has made this possible through His Son, Jesus - Amen!

Let us pray: Father God, thank you that it is You who works in me both to will and to do for Your good pleasure. Thank you that I have been sanctified by Jesus' will when He offered up His body for the world. Thank you Father for Your will is my will and I worship you with my will. Because of Jesus, my obedience and my will are one with You Father as I receive the grace to walk in all the good works You prepared before hand for me for Your glory in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.

I'll end with this Word found in 1 John 4:17 (NKJV)

"Love has been perfected among us in this: that we may have boldness in the day of judgment; because as He is, so are we in this world."

Amen, thank you LORD.

Invitation to salvation: If you would like to receive Jesus and be born again into God's Kingdom, that is saved and have a personal relationship with God as Your Father and you as His child by receiving His Son, Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, I invite you to say this confession:

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever." AMEN.

GLORY TO GOD, You are now a new creation in Christ Jesus! In case you have not already, please prayerfully consider becoming a member of a church and get water baptized!
