God saves

In 2 Timothy 1:9 AMP

"for He delivered us and saved us and called us with a holy calling [a calling that leads to a consecrated life - a life set apart - a life of purpose], not because of our works [or because of any personal merit - we could do nothing to earn this], but because of His own purpose and grace [His amazing, undeserved favor] which was granted to us in Christ Jesus before the world began [eternal ages ago]."

Amen, thank you LORD.

The AMP version gives us a full insight into what the Spirit of the LORD is saying to us today.

The above Word is a reminder that God takes full responsibility for your salvation. You were saved by mercy. You were cleansed and renewed by the power of the Holy Spirit, amen. This was granted to you before you were born, before you came into existence (Jeremiah 1:5) so that you may know that you can never work yourself into the love of God.

The above Word also shows us that a consecrated life is not a life you manufacture through your own actions but it has been freely given to you as a gift. Living a life that is set apart happens through the power of the Holy Spirit that enables you to make these changes in your lifestyle by grace as you yield to Him. This is not because of your works but by personal merit as you could never do anything to earn a consecrated life. Now on the outside, the adjustments you make with God's help may appear like you are earning it but it will never be so because the ability to live a consecrated life has been freely given to you by grace in the name of Jesus.

Consequently, the grace provided by God to live a life that is set apart serves the purpose to align you to God's plans and purposes that He prepared concerning your life.

Prayer: Father, I thank you for each son and daughter LORD. I thank you that they are Yours, Your very own prized possession and work of righteousness. Thank you for saving and delivering them with a holy calling through Your precious Son, Jesus Christ. Thank you Father that today Your sons and daughters receive the grace to live a consecrated life that honors Your purpose and glory upon their lives in the name of Jesus, Amen.

I'll end with this Word found in Titus 3:5 (AMP)

"He saved us, not because of any works of righteousness that we have done, but because of His own compassion and mercy, by the cleansing of the new birth (spiritual transformation, regeneration) and renewing by the Holy Spirit."

Amen, thank you LORD.

Invitation to salvation: Today, God is still pursuing His people in love. In fact, God loves you so much that He had to send Jesus Christ His Son to die for Your sin (John 3:16). When Jesus died on the cross, an exchange happened where in His painful crucifixion, He bore all your sin, wrongs, shortcomings, iniquity, mistakes, diseases, depression. Jesus took it all so you do not have to bear them and this is the reason when you receive Him, you are whole, healthy, set apart, complete in Him and reconciled in relationship with God, the Father now until eternity. If this sounds like you:

Please make this confession;

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.
