God starts, God completes

Revelation 1:8 NKJV

"I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End," says the Lord, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty."

Amen, thank you LORD.

God, the beginning - we started with God-and as the End-He also desires for mankind to get a hold of His End. When you read the gospels, you see that every work that Jesus started, He had to complete. In fact when Jesus died on the cross, He spoke of His work and said, "It is finished." (John 19:30).

In one particular instance, His disciples while onboard on ship were faced with a terrible storm. They could not die not only because Jesus was with them but it is helpful to reflect on God's heart. That is, God did not save them only for them to be killed before fulfilling their appointed purpose.

I believe the story of Jairus and his twelve year daughter is another good example of what God starts and completes regardless of surrounding circumstances. In this story, Jairus is a man whose daughter is severely ill. He calls Jesus to come to his house to heal his daughter. On the way to his house, following an eventful journey, people come running to Jairus informing him to not bother the LORD, for his daughter had died (Luke 8:49). "But Jesus, hearing this, answered him, "Do not be afraid any longer; only believe and trust [in Me and have faith in My ability to do this], and she will be made well." (Luke 8:50 AMP). Indeed, his daughter received life from Jesus and she was made well.

Friend, you will not be put to shame when you put your faith in Jesus. The mustard seed faith (Luke 13:19) is the action to believe and come to Jesus asking Lord, 'if not you to help me then who?'

Jesus in John 6:37 NKJV, "All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out." The LORD will by no means cast away anyone who comes to Him because 2 Timothy 2:13 reminds us that He cannot deny Himself. As a child of God, be encouraged. The detours, storms, distractions, etc all mean one thing that God will always complete what He starts.

I'll end with this Word in Numbers 23:19 (NKJV)

"God is not a man that He should lie nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?"

Amen, thank you LORD.

Invitation to salvation: Today, God is still pursuing His people in love. In fact, God loves you so much that He had to send Jesus Christ His Son to die for Your sin (John 3:16). When Jesus died on the cross, an exchange happened where in His painful crucifixion, He bore all your sin, wrongs, shortcomings, iniquity, mistakes, diseases, depression. Jesus took it all so you do not have to bear them and this is the reason when you receive Him, you are whole, healthy, set apart, complete in Him and reconciled in relationship with God, the Father now until eternity. If this sounds like you:

Please make this confession;

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.

If you just said this prayer, congratulations - GLORY TO GOD, the LORD has redeemed you and you are born again- AMEN. Please find a home church, become a member and get water baptized!
