Grace & love

Father God, we thank you for Your Word. We thank you that Your Word is truth and it is life. We thank you that the Word is breathing life into the lives of Your sons and daughters. Thank you LORD that by Your resurrection power every situation contrary to Your Word is aligning Your sons and daughters back to Your original plans and purposes concerning them in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Today's lead Word is from Galatians 5:6 (NKJV)

"For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love."

Amen, thank you LORD.

Yesterday, I shared on grace as the embodiment of the finished works of the cross. In God's grace, is the revelation of His power because no person could have worked their way into salvation. Romans 5:8 reminds us that God sent Jesus who died for the sins of the world while we were still sinners. Jesus was not sent to the world to save perfect people. Man at his best behaviour and goodness is still a sinner. Romans 3:23 NKJV reminds us of our need for God's grace and love found in Christ, for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Jesus did not wait for your perfectionism, your goodness or mine to come and die for our sins. God sent Jesus to you and I purely out of love. Just like grace, nobody can work or earn God's love.

It is important to remember that faith works through love. Have you ever considered that God's faith towards you works through His love for you. That when God looks at you, He considers My son/daughter will make it, as He will see to completion the good work He begun in you (Philippians 1:6) by His grace and love working in you. Friend, God is a Keeper and the way that He keeps you is through salvation.

Jesus in John 10:10 says, the thief comes to steal, to kill and to destroy but Jesus says, I have come so that they may have an abundant life. Jesus is so serious about giving you this abundant life that He says, He is the good Shepherd that lays His life down for you, His sheep (John 10:11). The enemy destroys but Jesus' love does not destroy. God's love found in His salvation preserves and it keeps you in the name of Jesus. In the gospels, we see Jesus praying to the Father before His crucifixion and thanking Him that He was able to keep all that was given to Him, except the son of perdition (John 17:12).

During Jesus' physical ministry on the earth, we also saw that His disciples were not perfect people. Nevertheless, they were still deeply loved by God. For instance one of the Apostles, Peter, the rock that Jesus built His church (Matthew 16:18) denied knowing Jesus or being in fellowship with Him three times (Matthew 26:34). However, this did not disqualify him from God's purpose because faith works through love.

Despite denying Jesus three times, God knew Peter's heart was able to handle this great assignment despite his shortcomings in the flesh. Romans 11:29 KJV reminds us that "for the gifts and calling of God are without repentance." So we find that God meets you where you are (most times in imperfection) because He is a Keeper and it is God's love and His grace concerning you that qualifies you for the plans and purposes He has concerning you not your works. As you continue to behold God's love for you, you are empowered with His grace to move from where you are into all that He has concerning you. AMEN!

I'll end with this Word found in Philippians 2:13 (NKJV)

"for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure."

Amen, thank you LORD.

Invitation to salvation: God in His expression of love towards man sent forth His One and Only Son in whom is the forgiveness of sin. In the blood of Christ, you are redeemed from the power of darkness and reconciled in relationship to God where He becomes your Father. If this sounds like you, please say this prayer with me;

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.

PRAISE GOD, THE LORD HAS REDEEMED YOU!- Amen.

For everyone who had received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, please become a member of a church and get water baptized. God bless you.
