Healing

Father God, thank you for this day and may the entrance of Your Word bring light in the lives of Your sons and daughters in the name of Jesus, Amen.
In the gospel of John was a story of a man who was born blind. The disciples asked Jesus whether the parents of this man had sinned for him to be born blind (John 9:2). Jesus responded, "Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him." (John 9:3). Truly, the works of God were revealed in this man's life for Jesus was able to anoint his eyes with clay and as he washed his eyes in the pool of Siloam (which is translated, Sent), he came back seeing (John 9:6-7). This man received restoration of both his physical and spiritual sight.
God's heart when it comes to healing you is settled and it is the same today just like it was in the past. In the Old Testament, the LORD God had told the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as they journeyed through the wilderness that He would take sickness and disease away from them and that He would also bless their bread and water (Exodus 23:25). As the children of Israel journeyed through the wilderness, they never experienced sickness because an important part of God's covenant and blessing for His people is good health.
Today, God's covenant is not only for the descendants of Abraham but it is for all that would receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour of their life. When you receive salvation, you receive spiritual sight as a new creation who is in relationship with God (2 Corinthians 5:17) because your sins are forgiven by God's love and by Jesus' stripes you are healed (1 Peter 2:24). Receiving spiritual sight that is found in the Son of God, Jesus Christ, is what activates the physical manifestation of healing in one's body be it physical, emotional or psychological. Just like God's gift of salvation is free so is God's gift of healing found in Christ.
Invitation to salvation: If you would like to know and experience this love of God that is found in His Son Christ who forgives your sins, cleanses you and makes you whole, I invite you to a personal relationship with Him where He is no longer only God to you but also Father. If this sounds like you, please confess the prayer below,
"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour today and forever." AMEN!
I'll end with this Word found in Matthew 8:2-3 (NKJV)
"And behold a leper came and worshipped Him, saying, "Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean."
Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him saying, "I am willing; be cleansed." Immediately, his leprosy was cleansed."
Amen, thank you LORD.
