Heart and the Word

Praise the LORD family. We praise the LORD for this beautiful day. What a blessing it is to have God as a Father and to believe in His Son Jesus as our Lord and Savior, Amen.
Today's Word is from Hebrews 10:16-17 NKJV
16."This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,
17.then He adds, "Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."
Amen, thank you LORD.
When you become born again, that is, you receive salvation by believing in His Son Christ with your heart and make confession with your mouth (Romans 10:10). When you do this you enter into a new covenant where your old life of sin is passed away and never to be remembered again by God. If people, remember your past mistakes and faults, it is not the end of the world. God forgives and forgets your past sins and iniquities the moment you confess your sins and receive salvation found in His Son, Christ.
As a result, of this new covenant (2 Corinthians 5:17), God promises to write His Word on your heart and on your mind (Hebrews 10:16). Now if you occasionally read your Bible, it may be difficult to engage this promise but when you do spend time reading the Word, God promises to keep His Word.
This also shows us that the work that God does in your heart by His power and grace is what guides your mind and in turn guides your actions, not vice versa where the mind guides your heart. Sometimes, they are conversations in the world about the mind being powerful but I beg to differ, the heart is powerful. God also encourages His people to guard their hearts. In Proverbs 4:23 AMP, "watch over your heart with all diligence, for from it flow the springs of life."
The above verses in Hebrews 10:16-17 also reveal how important your heart and mind are to God which is the reason He desires to put His Word in them. In Ephesians 5:22-33, we see the union between Christ and the church where Jesus is the Husband and we the church are His bride. These instructions also apply to a marriage union between a man and woman but in this particular context I'll focus on the union between Christ and the church, His bride. In Ephesians 5:25-26 NKJV, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of the water by the word,". Jesus sanctifies you, His bride, by cleansing you with the water of the word. This Word is found in your Bible. So we see that the heart and the Word are one because God cannot separate himself from the Word.
Romans 12:1-2 also shares that without the reading of the Word, a believer and child of God may not fully experience and know God's transformative power as they walk their salvation journey. It reads, "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God." As you read the Word, Jesus cleanses you, heals you, renews you, sanctifies you, restores you, aligns you, transforms you into all that God created you to be while He also draws you into deeper intimacy with the Father, God - AMEN.
I'll end with this Word found in Matthew 5:6 (NKJV)
"Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be filled."
Amen, thank you LORD.
Invitation to salvation: The above promise is for God's children who have made a confession and received Jesus as Lord and Saviour of their life. When you receive Him, you are forgiven, redeemed from spiritual death, whole, healthy, set apart, complete in Him and reconciled in relationship with God, the Father now until eternity. If this sounds like you:
Please make this confession;
"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.
If you just said this prayer, congratulations - GLORY TO GOD, the LORD has redeemed you and you are born again- AMEN. In case you have not already, join a church community and get water baptized!
