Isaiah 50

Father, we thank you for the gift of Jesus Christ, Your Son and the comfort of the Holy Spirit. Right now, we welcome You and say may Your name be magnified in the lives of each and every one of Your people and LORD as is written, may You speak a word in season to the weary one in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.

Today's lead Word is from Isaiah 50:7-9 (NKJV)

7."For the LORD GOD will help Me; therefore I will not be disgraced; therefore I have set My face like a flint, and I know that I will not be ashamed.

8.He is near who justifies Me; who will contend with Me? Let us stand together. Who is My adversary? Let him come near Me.

9.Surely the LORD GOD will help Me; who is he who will condemn Me? Indeed they will all grow old like a garment; the moth will eat them up."

Amen, thank you LORD.

Today's Word is about the LORD God's Servant, who is also known as His beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

In this beautiful chapter, we see the priceless obedience of Jesus who was sacrificed unto death so that you and I can have the life we have today. In Colossians 1:16, we now have redemption in the blood of Jesus Christ and the forgiveness of sin. Friend, God has redeemed you and I, away from the influence of the dark powers of this world and into the Kingdom of the Son of His beloved, Jesus (Colossians 1:15).

Isaiah 50:5-6, shares a glimpse of the torture and excruciating pain to say the least that the LORD endured from His persecutors before He was hang on the cross. We see that His beard was plucked out and He did not hide His face from shame and spitting (Isaiah 50:6). All of this Jesus endured so that we could be in relationship with God, the Father again.

Just to share a brief overview, when the enemy introduced sin by Adam and Eve's disobedience to the Word of God in the garden of Eden. This disobedience led to spiritual cessation and sin that inevitably separated them from God, the Father. So when God tells us that in Christ, we have redemption, this is the starting point of all redemption, receiving His Servant and one and only Son, Christ who was sent as a love gift from the Father so that all would be saved from the destruction of sin and death.

One of God's nature is holiness and sin is not holy. Jesus Christ is the revelation of God's perfect plan of restoration and redemption for mankind in relationship with Him. When you and I receive Jesus, we are reconciled in relationship to the Father (2 Corinthians 5:18). AMEN!

This also means when God sees you and I, He sees Jesus, not our mistakes, weaknesses and shortcomings but Jesus. So when you receive the free gift of salvation (see invitation below), you become a new creation where your old life is dead and gone (2 Corinthians 5:17) because you are now the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Because Jesus got it right, you and I get it right as well by God's grace! - Amen. This is what it means to be the righteousness of God in Christ.

In addition to dying for our sins on the cross, Galatians 3:13 also reminds us that Jesus bore all our curses. It reads,"Cursed is everyone who hangs upon a tree."

As a child of God, you cannot be cursed and every power of a curse is broken off of your life because of God's redemption power found in the blood of Jesus. Jesus bore all our sin and curses of poverty, sickness, shame, spiritual death, failure, struggle, stagnancy and limitation. A curse is a representation of retrogression and yet in Christ we are redeemed by His precious blood from every force of darkness. The blood of Jesus Christ, does not partially save, its a full package that completely saves us from everything that is not of God, amen. To be cursed would go against God's love nature and yet we are so blessed and loved by the Father, God in Christ. Just like any earthly good Dad, God only gives good gifts. God reminds us in Luke 11:13, that if you earthly parents know how to give good gifts, how much more Him. I want you to imagine a scenario, where you had a to go to God in prayer, in fear of receiving a bad gift from Him, would you be encouraged to pray to Him?

So as I conclude today's post, may you sit and meditate on God's love and goodness for you and simply open your heart to receive all that He has for you. We cannot be cursed as children of God, as we are now born of God (John 1:13). As a result, you and I are consistently prospering and advancing as children of God in Christ Jesus.

May you also be reminded that everything Jesus is, you are when you receive Him as Your Lord and Saviour.

In case, you would like to receive this gift of God found in His precious Son, Jesus Christ,

Please say this prayer;

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.

NOW REJOICE, THE LORD HAS REDEEMED YOU!- Amen.

For all who read this prayer, I pray you join a community of faith and get water baptized.

I'll end with this Word found in Romans 8:1-2 (NKJV)

"1.There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.

2.For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death."

Amen, thank you LORD.
