John, chapter 9

Holy Spirit, You are welcome here. Amen.

John 9:5-7 (NKJV)

5. "As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.

6. When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the bling man with the clay.

7. And He said to him, "Go wash in the pool of Siloam (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed and came back seeing."

Amen, thank you LORD.

John chapter 9 reveals physical blindness is not the same as spiritual blindness. Jesus opens the eyes of a man born blind and sends him to wash at a pool translated "Sent" and he started to see. This man's testimony still speaks today and in John 9:32 (NKJV) he testified to the Pharisees and said, "Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind."

The man who was born blind, was now God's sent one to proclaim the works of God to the people and in John 9:33 (NKJV) he speaks of Jesus and says, "If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing." The revelation of God in this man's spirit eventually led to his physical sight. Later on, we see him believing in the Son of God and worshipping Him (John 9:38).

On the other hand, the religious leaders, the Pharisees, who always had their physical sight could not see. Jesus said to them, "If you were blind, you would have no sin; but now you say, 'We see.' Therefore your sin remains." (John 9:41).

Prayer: Abba Father, thank you for Your love demonstrated in Your Beloved Son. You love well. Keep the revelation of the Son of God in the hearts of Your sons and daughters, may they always see not by power not by might but by the Spirit of the LORD in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.

I'll end with this Word found in John 9:25 (NKJV)

"He answered and said, "Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see."

Amen, thank you LORD.

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever." AMEN.
