My Father

Praise be to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places because we are united with Christ Jesus, Amen.
Ephesians 1:3 I believe will always be one of my favourite verses in the Bible. It articulates the completion of all things concerning the life of a believer. Now one may think, 'I just got saved!' - But in Christ, whether you got born again yesterday or years ago, Jesus said it is all finished! (John 19:30) - Amen.
Today's lead Word is from Hebrews 11:39-40 (NKJV)
"And all these, having obtained a good testimony through faith, did not receive the promise,
God having provided something better for us, that they should not be made perfect apart from us."
Amen, thank you LORD.
When I consider that the great men of faith in the Bible did not receive the promise because God was waiting for me, Sa'rah, (you may add your name as well) so that they should not be made perfect apart from us, it is humbling. The promise referred to above in Hebrews 11:39 is Christ's coming. Can you imagine? The great prophets and the men of old desired to live in the time you and I are in today, the time when the Father sent His Son, Jesus in whose blood is redemption and the forgiveness of sins. That when our father of faith Abraham saw this day, it was a beautiful day and he rejoiced (John 8:56). When the prophets Moses, David, Isaiah, spoke of this day, which is this day that you and I are currently living in today as the church, it was too good to be true. As a child of God who has been born again not of the flesh or of the will of man but you are born of God (John 1:13), you are so blessed beyond words. Because of Jesus, you can call the Creator and Possessor of heaven and earth (Genesis 14:19), my Father.
I'll end with the word of the LORD God found in Ezekiel 16:4-14 (NKJV)
"As for your nativity, on the day you were born your navel cord was not cut, nor were you washed in water to cleanse you; you were not rubbed with salt nor wrapped in swaddling cloths.
No eye pitied you, to do any of these things for you, to have compassion on you; but you were thrown out into an open field, when you yourself were loathed on the day you were born.
And when I passed by you and saw you struggling in your own blood, I said to you in your blood, 'Live!' Yes, I said to you in your blood, 'Live!'
I made you thrive like a plant in the field; and you grew, matured, and became very beautiful. Your breasts were formed, your hair grew, but you were naked and bare.
When I passed by you again and looked upon you, indeed your time was the time of love; so I spread My wing over you and covered your nakedness. Yes, I swore an oath to you and entered into a covenant with you, and you became Mine," says the LORD God.
Then I washed you in water; yes, I thoroughly washed off your blood, and I anointed you with oil.
I clothed you in embroidered cloth and gave you sandals of badger skin; I clothed you with fine linen and covered you with silk.
I adorned you with ornaments, put bracelets on your wrists, and a chain on your neck.
And I put a jewel in your nose, earrings in your ears, and a beautiful crown on your head.
Thus you were adorned with gold and silver, and your clothing was of fine linen, silk, and embroidered cloth. You ate pastry of fine flour, honey, and oil. You were exceedingly beautiful and succeeded to royalty.
Your fame went out among the nations because of your beauty for it was perfect through My splendor which I had bestowed on you," says the LORD God."
Amen, thank you LORD God. Thank you Father.
Invitation to salvation: If you would like to receive Jesus and be born again into God's Kingdom, that is saved and have a personal relationship with God as Your Father and you as His child by receiving His Son, Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, I invite you to say this confession:
"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever." AMEN.
GLORY TO GOD, You are now a new creation in Christ Jesus! In case you have not already, please prayerfully consider becoming a member of a church and get water baptized!
