Purpose of God's love

Father God, thank you that this is the day that You have made and we shall be glad and rejoice in it. This is the day of Your breakthrough, redemption, deliverance and restoration for Your sons and daughters as You align them in wisdom and understanding concerning their identity as children of God in the name of Jesus, amen. Thank you LORD.
Today's post is about the purpose of God's love. When God recognized humanity's need, He sent a man and this man was called John (John 1:6). John was the person appointed by God who was a witness of the Light that would come into the world (John 1:7). The Word also shares that whoever believes in this Light who is also the Son of God, Christ, will be called a child of God. That is, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." (John 1:12-13 NKJV).
When you become born again, the first thing that God gives you is an identity as His son and daughter. Your identity as a child of God is what informs your purpose. This is important because often times, one may feel like their circumstances define them, their family background, their work, career and the roles they may do but today God reminds you as His child, that what you do or experience is not who you are.
As Creator and Father, God is the only One who has the accurate blueprint for your life. Another example of a man sent by God to fulfill purpose to generations was a young man called Jeremiah. The LORD said to him, "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations." However, Jeremiah was uncertain he had the ability to fulfill this call but the LORD told him, "Do not say, 'I am a youth,' for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of their faces, for I am with you to deliver you," (Jeremiah 1:7-8). I believe Jeremiah's uncertainty when God called him is a normal feeling because the plan and purpose that God has prepared for your life is always bigger than you may imagine because your purpose is ultimately meant to glorify God, the Father's Kingdom. The LORD not only promises that His presence will be with you as you step into your purpose and calling, but you also will not have to do anything on your own and Acts 1:8 AMP is a reminder, "But you will receive power and ability when the Holy Spirit comes upon you; and you will be My witnesses [to tell people about Me] both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and Samaria, and even to the ends of the earth."
Now Jeremiah was ordained a prophet to the nations, Jesus Christ, the Son God and John the Baptist all had public ministries. At the same time, the calling and purpose that God has for your life may not be in the public arena and this does not make it any less significant. For instance, Abraham was the father of many nations, his purpose and calling was not in the public arena but through him, all the nations of the world would be blessed (Genesis 22:18). Ultimately, there is no greater fulfilment and reward than walking in the calling and purpose that God has prepared concerning your life and your obedience in your identity as a child of God is what unlocks it.
I'll end with the Word of the LORD found in Joshua 1:8-9 (NKJV)
"This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."
Amen, thank you LORD.
Invitation to salvation: On that note, if you would like to know about God, the Father who from the beginning of creation has always loved you and desires to commune with you through a personal relationship with His only Son Christ by dwelling on the inside of you and to have eternal and everlasting life including walking in your purpose and identity as a child of God thereby giving you all the blessings found in Christ Jesus - I invite you to make this confession:
"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever." AMEN.
Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17) . To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen.
