Serving God

Proverbs 10:22 (NKJV)

"The blessing of the LORD makes one rich and He adds no sorrow with it."

Amen, thank you LORD.

In my previous post, I shared on the grace of God that qualifies you for the purpose that He has always prepared for you as seen in Ephesians 2:10. Today's post is about serving God. I believe serving God all starts with a heart that is submitted to the LORD's heart and in your submission, He leads and guides the way to your place of service or ministry. It is a blessing and an honor for the LORD God to entrust you to serve His people with integrity of heart. This blessing of God makes rich and adds no sorrow with it.

At the same time, it is also important to remember that intimacy in your personal relationship with God is what gives birth to service and not vice versa. That is, we do not serve so that we can become closer to God.

Revelation 20:12 (NKJV) reminds us that each person will have to give an account for their works. It reads, "And I saw dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books." This Word is a reminder that there is an eternal accountability system where everything we do serves an eternal purpose according to the agenda of heaven. As a born again child of God, the main purpose of the works of your hands is to glorify God. This may be on a public platform or not. This maybe in your workplace, this maybe in your family as a husband, dad, mother or wife. This maybe serving in ministry at church, this maybe in your business, a blog or podcast. Whatever capacity the LORD may lead you to serve and glorify His name, remember heaven is on your side and with God's grace and His power at work in you, all things are possible.

Often times, the enemy may present situations in the natural to make you disqualify yourself from God's calling. However, in Philippians 4:13 AMP the LORD reminds us, "I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose - I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace]." Choose obedience because God is with you and refuse to rationalize the assignment or calling that the LORD has for you because the LORD is your Shepherd and you shall not want in the name of Jesus, Amen.

I'll end with this Word found in Joshua 1:9 (NKJV)

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

AMEN, thank you LORD.

Invitation to salvation: God, the Father is at the core of Your purpose because He holds the blueprint of your life. He knows what would suit you and what would not because He created you. However, you cannot fulfill and serve in your assignment without a relationship with God through His One and Only Beloved Son, Jesus Christ.

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.
