Father God, we thank you for the Word, for the entrance of Your Word brings light. May Your Light shine on our paths and guide our lives in the name of Jesus, Amen.

Romans 5:19 (NKJV)

"For by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's obedience many will be righteous."

Amen, thank you LORD.

In the previous post, we looked at the first Adam whose disobedience to God's command to not eat fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil (Genesis 2:17) led to sin which was introduced by the enemy.

On the other hand, when you receive Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of your life, you become a child of God and the seed that is in you, is the Seed of Christ (Galatians 3:16). The Seed of Christ is a Seed that cannot be corrupted because it was born of the Spirit of God. The Seed of Christ also contains the power to ensure your obedience to God's commands. So with the first Adam, disobedience naturally flowed through him to all men because of sin but with the second Adam who is Christ, obedience flows to all who become children of God because Jesus obeyed God's command by aligning His will to God, the Father's will and offering His body as the perfect sacrifice when He died a sinner's death on the cross.

So what does this mean? - It means that God has not made His children to struggle with obedience, to obeying the Word of God and His instruction because they have believed the second Adam, Christ, who was obedient to God's instruction thereby redeeming them from the sin of the first Adam. John 1:13 speaks of those who have believed in the name of Jesus and it says, "...who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." As a result, God in His infinite wisdom ensures that His grace supplies all of your needs.

I'll end with this Word found in Galatians 2:20-21 (NKJV)

  1. "I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."

  2. "I do not set aside the grace of God; for if righteousness comes through the law, then Christ died in vain."

Amen, thank you LORD.

Invitation to salvation: If you would like to know God as Your Father where you become His child and restored into fellowship with Him according to His original plans for you through a personal relationship with His One and Beloved Son, Jesus - I invite you to say this confession:

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever." AMEN.

Congratulations, YOU'VE BEEN REDEEMED by the precious blood of Jesus. To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen. In case you do not already, please join a church community and get water baptized!
