The law, grace and truth (25)

This is the day that the LORD has made, we shall be glad and rejoice in it in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.

Deuteronomy 31:8 (NKJV)

"And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."

Amen, thank you LORD.

These were the LORD's words to Joshua as he succeeded Moses to lead the children of Israel to the promised land. God encouraged Joshua that He would be with Him wherever he would go and He would never leave him nor forsake him. God kept His promise with Joshua and the children of Israel as well.

On the other hand, when Jesus who is the truth (John 14:6) came to the world and died on the cross for the sin of the world. Some of Jesus' last words on the cross before His death were "Eli Eli lama sabachthani?" that is, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?" Sometimes based on circumstances, it maybe easy for one to say God does not know or remember them but I want us to consider what it meant for Jesus, who was fully God and yet fully man to tell God, the Father why have you forsaken me? - Jesus in His death knew what it truly meant to be forsaken by the Father God so that none of us can experience it. Because of Jesus, humanity can never say God has forsaken them because in love Christ died before we even knew about Him yet alone were born into the world. This is the reason for our hope. Romans 5:8 reminds us that while we were still sinners Christ died for us on the cross. Child of God, Christ was forsaken on the cross so no born again child Jew or Gentile can say that God has forsaken them. Literally none because this is how much God loves you. As a result, we see salvation is a precious invitation that unfolds the blessings and promises of God found in Christ where the seeker of God is the one sought after by God.

Isaiah 62:12 (NKJV) says,

"And they shall call them The Holy People, the Redeemed of the LORD; and you shall be called Sought Out, A City not Forsaken." - Amen, thank you LORD.

Invitation to be born again: If you would like to receive eternal life and the free gift of salvation that is found in Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, please say this prayer with me;

"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever. Thank you Father that because the Son has made me free, I am now free indeed." AMEN.

HALLELUJAH, PRAISE GOD! YOU ARE OFFICIALLY REDEEMED. PLEASE FIND A CHURCH AND GET WATER BAPTIZED!
