Abba Father, we welcome and usher Your presence into our homes and every space that we live and occupy in the name of Jesus. Thank you that we are growing in awareness of Your presence that is in and surrounds us for the light shines and the darkness did not comprehend it. Thank you Father that as we read the Word, You are opening up the eyes of our understanding and giving us revelation that is bearing fruit for Your glory in the name of Jesus, Amen.
Hebrews 4:14-16 (NKJV)
"Seeing then that we have a great High Priest who has passed through the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession.
For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin.
Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."
Amen, thank you LORD.
Yesterday, I shared on the presence of God that is not removed from the situation of humanity. In fact, it is because of darkness and the sin that seeks to separate man from God that God's presence seeks to redeem, to restore, to save, to deliver and to heal. This is the reason that Jesus was sent to the world by God, the Father. John 1:3 reminds us that nothing was created and made by the Father God without Jesus. Christ is in all things. But God did not stop there, in love He gave Jesus to the world, who had to experience what it means to live in a human body and in this world. There is nothing that You have been through or are going through that was not laid upon Christ on the cross. He had to humanly experience every trial that man would ever face making Him the faithful and compassionate High Priest. Jesus before He departed said in John 16:33 (NKJV), "These things I have spoken to you, that in Me you have peace. In the world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." May this encourage and comfort you to approach God's throne and His grace boldly in the name of Jesus.
However, there is also a deception, where it is possible to not discern that you need God's grace and salvation in your life or where you maybe tempted to settle when you should be pressing into God's best. The Bible ascribes this lack of discernment to the enemy who deceives the whole world (Revelation 12:9).
I pray that anywhere you may have knowingly or unknowingly fallen into the enemy's deception, that deception is permanently broken off of your life as the blood of Jesus Christ ushers you into His salvation in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
Thankfully, Father God left us with a solution to discerning the enemy's deception and this hope is found in God's Word. The Bible is the only source of truth. Hebrews 4:12 (NKJV) says, "For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of the soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart." Friend, the Word of God has the power to unmask every deception of the enemy and when deception is unmasked, then you become equipped to approach God's throne with boldness so that you are able to obtain mercy and help in the time of need, amen.
I'll end with Jesus' Word found in John 15:26 (NKJV)
"But when the Helper comes, whom I shall send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth who proceeds from the Father, He will testify of Me."
Amen, thank you LORD.
Invitation to salvation: If you would like to be born again into God's Kingdom, that is saved and have a personal relationship with God as Your Father and you as His child by receiving His Son, Jesus as Lord and Savior of your life, I invite you to say this confession:
"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever." AMEN.
Congratulations, YOU'VE BEEN REDEEMED by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen. In case you do not already, please join a church community and get water baptized!
