Abba Father, thank you for Your Word that renews, cleanses, aligns and sanctifies us from all sin and unrighteousness qualifying us for every good work in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
Hebrews 10:16-18 (NKJV)
"This is the new covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them;
17. Then He adds, "their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more."
Now where there is remission of these, there is no longer an offering for sin."
Amen, thank you LORD.
We praise the LORD for the beauty of the new covenant where there is no longer an offering for sin because we are born of God (John 1:12) and have been delivered from the power of sin by the sanctification of the will of the LORD Jesus and the offering of His body once and for all (Hebrews 10:10) as the perfect sacrifice on the cross. Whoever is born of God cannot sin because God's seed remains in them (1 John 3:9) and the Lord Jesus cleanses and sanctifies you with the washing of the water of His Word (Ephesians 5:26).
However, there is an active participation on your part where you, child of God, yield to the leading of the Holy Spirit by reading, studying the Word of God and you offer your body as as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to the Lord as seen in Romans 12:1.
At the same time, the Word cautions us that if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries (Hebrews 10:26-27 NKJV).
Thankfully, we have Jesus, the Good Shepherd who is always by our side to do life with us as we follow Him. John 10:27-30 re affirms this and reads, "My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father's hand. I and My Father are one."
Prayer: Father, thank you that our hearts are good ground for this Word to yield a bountiful harvest in every area of our lives in the name of Jesus. Thank you Father for the blessing of the new covenant where our old life is passed away and we are now a new creation in Christ Jesus, bought with the precious blood of Jesus Christ. Thank you for putting Your laws into our hearts and writing them on our minds in the name of Jesus. Thank you Father for the victory You have given us over sin because of Your power that is at work in us. We are born of God and cannot sin because Your seed remains in us in the name of Jesus. Thank you Father that Your seed in us is sanctified by the truth of Your Word, the water of Your Word that cleanses us in the name of Jesus. Thank you Father for the grace and the power of the Holy Spirit who enables us to yield to You as we present our bodies as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to You as Your temple in the name of Jesus, Amen. Thank you LORD.
Invitation to salvation: If you would like to know about God, the Father who from the beginning of creation has always loved you and desires to commune with you through a personal relationship with His only Son Christ who has given you victory over sin and through Him, we have the blessings of the new covenant where God puts His law into our hearts and writes them on our mind.
If this sounds like you - I invite you to speak this confession:
"I believe with my heart and confess with my mouth that; Jesus Christ, the Son of God came in a human body to die for my sins so that I could have a new life where I am dead to sin and alive to God. I repent of my past sins and enter the Kingdom of light where I choose relationship with Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour and with God as my loving Father today and forever." AMEN.
Congratulations, by grace you are saved and are now a new creation in Christ Jesus. The old life has passed away and you have received the free gift of salvation into your life (2 Corinthians 5:17) . To the glory of the Almighty God. Amen. In case you do not already, please join a church community and get water baptized!
